As a true cost effective alternative to air ambulance, C.M.E. proudly makes available our comprehensive medical escort program. In addition to all medical escort transfers being evaluated by our medical director, all transfers are thoroughly planned to avoid any unnecessary problems.

Not only do our Repatriation Coordinators serve as a vital communication link between the client and the escort providing patient care, they also assist in every minute detail of the medical escort.

They ensure that the escort’s accommodations are as convenient to the patient’s location as possible. In addition, they assist the escorts with transportation and directions in unfamiliar cities. So whether it is arranging ground transportation from the hotel to the airport with the patient or a waterbus routing in Venice, Italy to the hospital to retrieve the patient, our Repatriation Coordinators are there every step of the way.

When available, our medical personnel and your patient or loved one will travel in the first or business class cabin of the commercial aircraft to ensure maximum comfort and minimal disturbances.

In addition to mobility assistance, personal needs and meals, thorough medical monitoring for the duration of the transfer is provided. This includes monitoring of all vital signs, oxygen saturation, assessment of blood sugar (if required) and medication administration. Commercial Medical Escorts is also capable of providing oxygen therapy via the InogenOne, an FAA and airline approved portable oxygen concentrator.

International Commercial Stretcher Services

Commercial Medical Escorts is highly experienced in international stretcher transfers. This service is exceedingly complex and requires our expertise. Commercial stretcher services provide the same level of care without the cost of air ambulance.

If your international patient or loved one's condition warrants a commercial stretcher, Commercial Medical Escorts will ensure that all medical clearance requirements with the airline are met, as well as immigration and visa needs.

Commercial Medical Escorts works directly with many international airlines to ensure that an FAA approved stretcher is properly secured into the aircraft. Privacy and safety are always an issue, but rest assured that C.M.E. will provide your patient or loved one with that need.
